Our Golden Apple Award Winner for the month of November is Ms. Michaela Harleston! She is a Special Abilities teacher here at KES, and she is doing an amazing job! Ms. Harleston serves as the grade level chairperson for her team, and she works tirelessly to keep her team moving and thriving. She is dependable, smart, and hardworking. It is a pleasure to present Ms. Harleston as our Golden Apple Award Winner for the month of November!

Harvest Festival and Family Literacy Night are coming to KES on Thursday, November 2nd! The Harvest Festival will include a cake walk, bingo, face painting, color hair braiding, a nail polish station, carnival games, popcorn, and drinks. Tickets will cost $1, and each activity varies from $1-$5. Food trucks will include Kona Ice, Gnosh Pit, and Smoked and Shredded, costing $5-$15 each. For Literacy Family Night, each grade level will have an activity on their hallway, and the school will be providing pizza! Make sure to mark your calendar, and join us for this Koala-ty evening!
