Healthy Learners is a non-profit organization that partners with school nurses and local medical providers to offer access to health care to children who are in need and without resources. Cost for health care services, transportation, and follow-up are paid for by Healthy Learners. All referrals to Healthy Learners are facilitated directly by GCSD school nurses.

šāØ Congratulations to our Spelling Bee winners! Their dedication and hard work exemplified the spirit of perseverance and excellence. A special acknowledgment goes to Chloe Sheppard (1st) and Raquan Knowlin (2nd) place winners, who stood out among many talented participants.

Our 4H students are gaining hands-on experience in sustainable gardening! Last week, they harvested fresh cabbage and collards from our late fall/winter garden, fostering their connection to agriculture and healthy eating. š„¬ā¤ļø


This past weekend, the 4H Club members engaged with the community at the local Tractor Supply Store in Georgetown to raise funds for their upcoming competition trip.

Coat Drive
In partnership with Wal-Mart, SCDNR, and Georgetown City Fire Department, we will be assisting with a Winter Coat Drive on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
All sizes of coats are welcomed! Coats will be donated to Georgetown County residents in need.
