Announcement: GCSD Schools and Facilities Closed January 23, 2025 Due to continued below-freezing temperatures and the potential for icy roads and unsafe travel conditions, all GCSD schools and facilities will be CLOSED on Thursday, January 23, 2025. This will be a traditional school closure, meaning no eLearning assignments or learning packets will be provided. A make-up date for Thursday’s closure will be announced at a later time. All extracurricular and afterschool activities, including athletic competitions and practices, are also canceled or postponed for Thursday. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We are working closely with local and state officials to monitor road conditions. A decision regarding GCSD’s operational status for Friday will be announced on Thursday (here).
