Today, our AVID students and Creative Writing club had the opportunity to visit Plantersville Elementary School, where they volunteered to read stories to students from Pre-K through 5th grade. This initiative not only fosters a love for reading among young learners but also enhances our students' leadership and communication skills. The morning will begin with welcome and musical performances from 9:00 AM to 9:25 AM, followed by classroom showcases from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM, concluding with a performance by Ms. Strickland’s Dance Classes. Wednesday-mismatched clothing day, Thursday- Wear Professional Dress Day, and Friday-Wear year favorite hat. Carvers Bay Middle STEAM Academy is excited to announce the celebration of Dr. Seuss Week! Read Across America Week takes place from March 2 to 6, coinciding with the birthday of the cherished author, Dr. Seuss. This week in March is fully devoted to reading, featuring daily themed activities such as "Drop Everything and Read" and "Inside Put Day." The National Education Association (N.E.A.) strives to promote reading and raise awareness about its advantages, particularly for children and young adults.
