Mrs. Brooke Tanner, RMS Teacher of the Year
Rosemary Middle School would proudly like to introduce Mrs. Brooke Tanner, the 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Tanner has been in education for 9 years, spending the last 4 years at Rosemary as a Reading Interventionist. In 2022, Mrs. Tanner earned her Master’s degree in literacy from the University of South Carolina. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University. Mrs. Tanner's educational philosophy is “Every child deserves a champion", and she lives up to that standard every day whether she is advocating for her students or teaching them how to advocate for themselves.
When she’s not inspiring the students at Rosemary, she is blessing others with her voice as a member of the Freedom Tabernacle praise and worship team. Her commitment to her faith, her family (husband, Tyler, and daughters, Kenzlie and Sully Rebecca), and her community is a testament to her character, compassion, and dedication to helping young people become successful in the classroom and in life. Congratulations to an exceptional teacher and an extraordinary human being.
