On Thursday, February 29th, KES presented their Black History Program to our KES students and guests. The history of Black History was presented by Kensington Wright and Kayden Cobb recited a poem. The GHS Chorus sang "Follow the Drinking Gourd" and the GMS Band played "Georgia on my Mind" by Ray Charles. Ms. Gloria Barr did a Gullah presentation where she told the story about the fox and tar baby. Mr. Fedrick Cohens, former principal of KES, was our Honoree and was presented a plaque of appreciation from our current principal, Mr. Cohens.
