September 13: College Application Day: Students will be able to complete up to 2 college applications during a 90-minute session with the assistance of college representatives and school counselors. To attend, students must sign up by Thursday, Sept. 7.
September 15 - October 15: Hispanic Heritage Month: Various activities to be announced
September 18: Celebrate Constitution Day (Sept. 17)
September 19: Coastal Carolina University College Tour: Students must turn in a permission slip. Only 30 students may attend.
September 20: 1/2 Day for Students: 1/2 Day Staff Development
September 21: Senior Supplies Meeting at 10:15am with Jostens
September 25: Academic Letter Awards Ceremony at 6:00pm. Qualifying students will be invited.
September 26: Be Pro Be Proud : An interactive mobile display promoting skilled professions for the workforce, such as welding, CAD drafters, diesel technicians, plumbers, CDL drivers.
September 28: Order Senior Supplies at lunch
October 2 - 3 : ASVAB: Sign up is coming soon
October 5: College Fair: Juniors and seniors (only those not taking a US Govt exam)
October 16- 20: PSAT for juniors and sophomores The deadline to sign up is September 15. Juniors taking the PSAT/NMQST with high enough scores could mean National Merit Scholarship money for college.
