Thursday, August 3 – GHS First Day Procedures
All students will pick up a schedule printed on GREEN paper the first day of school. Even if you have picked up your schedule already, you will have to have the GREEN copy to be admitted to your classes and attendance to be taken properly. (Bell Schedule below.)
9th Grade Students are to report directly to the Main Gym upon arrival. They will be given their schedule and remain in the Gym for a class meeting. They will be escorted to 1st block at conclusion of class meeting.
10th, 11th, and 12th Grade students are to report directly to their 1st block upon picking up their schedule. Information about class meetings for other grade levels will be shared tomorrow.
STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A SCHEDULE AND WILL REPORT TO THE AUDITORIUM UNTIL A PARENT COMPLETES THE PROCESS.
Underclassmen students who have already purchased parking passes are to park in their designated parking spaces. Underclassmen who have not purchased their passes should ask the administrator on duty where to park tomorrow. Parking passes will be sold during lunches only tomorrow. The parking pass application can be found on the GHS website and does require a parent's signature. Students are NOT to park in the faculty lots. Students who do not purchase their parking pass in a timely manner may be subject to disciplinary consequences.

First Bell – 8:20 AM
First Block 8:30 AM -10:00 AM
Second Block 10:05 AM -11:35 AM
Lunch (Half-Time) 11:35 AM - 12:25 PM
Third Block 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
Fourth Block 2:05 PM - 3:35 PM
Dismissal 3:35 PM
*The building will be open with limited supervision for students who need to arrive at 7:30 AM.
