Excitement buzzed through the halls of Andrews Elementary School on our first club day of the 2024-25 school year! This year, students have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of clubs during our half days, with something for everyone to enjoy and explore.
Students were able to choose from a broad selection of clubs designed to cater to diverse interests. Some of the favorites include Gardening, where students can get their hands dirty and learn about growing plants; Cooking, where budding chefs can whip up delicious treats; and Exercise, a perfect fit for those wanting to stay active. Students who love to move flocked to the Dance Club, while the Art Club provided a creative space for young artists to unleash their imaginations.
One of the most heartwarming clubs is the Kindness Club, where students focus on spreading positivity and learning how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in their school and community.
With so many options available, students were thrilled to dive into their chosen activities. Whether they were learning new skills, making new friends, or simply having fun, the energy in the school was undeniable.
Mrs. Fusco expressed her excitement for the year’s club activities! She, along with Mrs. McKnight, Mr. Clark, and all of our staff were so proud that AES is able to offer a wide range of clubs to inspire creativity, teamwork, and a sense of community among our students. These half-day sessions are a great way for students to explore their interests and develop new skills.
Our next club day is just around the corner, set for October 23, 2024! We’re eager to see what exciting projects and activities will come next.
