Teacher of the Year Finalists

Georgetown County School District is proud to recognize five outstanding educators who have been selected as finalists for the 2025-2026 District Teacher of the Year:

  • Christopher Miller – Andrews High

  • Joseph Lopes – Georgetown High

  • Katherine Turner – Maryville Elementary

  • Kristy Owens – Pleasant Hill Elementary STREAM Academy

  • Brooke Tanner – Rosemary Middle

Other school-level Teachers of the Year were also selected for their outstanding work and contributions to their school communities:

  • Waccamaw Elementary – Faith Graham
