Georgetown High’s Career Center Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Organization is the second round 1st place National Winners of the Lead4Change Challenge. They will be the recipients of $10,000 and will be recognized virtually at the 2021 FBLA National Conference on June 29, 2021.

Lead4Change gives students opportunities to learn outside the classroom by connecting with their community and putting their leadership skills into action. Georgetown’s FBLA Organization, “Blazing Bulldogs,” partnered with Birthright of Georgetown to make a difference in the lives of babies and mothers.  The project, “Hero’s for Babies,” collected baby supplies in the commons areas of the school from November 2020 – March 2021.

FBLA Organization members are: Jamiyah Jackson, president; Rebecca Kaminski, vice president; Destini Simon, secretary; Caitlyn Greggs, treasurer; Lydia Altman, historian; and Angelia Jackson, advisor.

Congratulations!
