Online Registration

In Georgetown County School District, all students are required to attend the school in which they are zoned by residence. Students must reside with their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) in order to be eligible for enrollment. Only the parent(s) or legal guardian is allowed to register their student. In order to attend a school other than your zoned school, after you complete new student registration, you will also need to complete a student transfer request.

Who should complete New Student Registration?
Parents of students who are new to our district or are not currently a student in GCSD.

What documentation is needed?
At least two forms of residency verification are required for registration. You will also need to provide the student's birth certificate, immunization record, and prior school contact information (if applicable). You can either upload these documents as part of your online registration or bring a copy of them to your school.

Returning Student Registration:

Who should complete Returning Student Registration?
Returning Registration is the process that includes providing proof of residence, verifying student information, and reviewing and completing parent/guardian forms for all returning GCSD students. To prevent delays in scheduling your child’s classes for the coming school year, please complete this process as soon as Annual Registration opens.

How should you complete Returning Student Registration?
Parents can log into their Parent Portal account via a browser to complete Returning Student Registration. Parents click on Quick Links then 2021-2022 Returning Student Registration under Custom Links.
**NOTE: You cannot complete Online Registration using the mobile app. You must login on a browser at classroom.powerschool.com.
